VIRTUALLY REAL
You’re a violinist. So play the violin.
You won’t find a typical piano-style keyboard in ViolinEsque. The big open-string button with the overlaid string indicator and eight finger placement buttons are designed to mimic the possibilities of your own left hand. The natural positions are highlighted while the others are dimmed but always playable, making it super easy to translate from ViolinEsque to violin and back again.

ALL IN THE WRIST
Change strings and shift positions intuitively and seamlessly.
You rotate your arm to change strings on a real violin. You move your hand back and forth to shift positions on a real violin. ViolinEsque gives you the same intuitve control, leaving the screen free to be used for ViolinEsque’s unique button layout. No more having to choose between screen space and range. You can have both.

ABOVE AND BEYOND
Up to fifteenth position or just the first, per your own needs.
Why limit yourself to first position just because you’re on mobile? ViolinEsque ties device pitch to a fully customisable hand position list, letting you go as high on each string as you can on a real violin, skipping in-between positions if you choose. Need to go up to seventh? Easy-peasy. Only need first and third positions but not second? You can do that, too. Don’t know what a hand position is yet? Get rid of the complexity so you can get comfortable with just the first. It’s all up to you.

MOLD IT TO YOU
Save your wrist. Customise.
Set how far your wrist can comfortably rotate in four directions, and ViolinEsque will fit all four strings and every hand position within those limits. You wouldn’t risk injuring yourself playing any real instrument. You don’t have to with ViolinEsque, either.
